Wildfox Couture’s Fall 2011 Lookbook Is Inspired By Almost Famous

It is no secret that the 1970s had a huge influence on the spring runways but Los Angeles-based label Wildfox Couture is taking it to the next level this fall. The fall 2011 lookbook takes its inspiration from Cameron Crowe’s iconic movie, Almost Famous, which starred Kate Hudson as Penny Lane, the lead Band-Aid (read: groupie), but it was also inspired by Anita Pallenberg, Elton John, and The Rolling Stones. Models such as Zippora Seven and Valeria Efanov take on the night wearing feather boas, silk scarves, fur hats, oversized leopard jackets, tie-dyed skirts, fur-embellished coats, flowy dresses, and fringed ponchos.
