Here Is Free People’s December 2011 Catalog

Free People is known for its global-gypsy aesthetic, so we weren’t surprised to learn that the Free People team headed to yet another exotic location—this time, Santorini in Greece—to shoot the December 2011 catalog. Although model Mona Johanesson modeled the brand’s fall/winter offerings, she did so against a clear blue sky. The result? A lesson in layering. Each look is comprised of stylish separates, which can be peeled on and off subject to the weather. For instance, a denim vest is layered over a sweater dress, a button-down is teamed with skinny corduroy pants, and a leather jacket is paired with a maxi dress.
